Clad in nothing but boxers, I rushed to clean up my pigsty of an apartment before his arrival. Sweat-caked boxer-briefs and other cast-offs from kickboxing were hanging off my staircase railing. K.'s retirement from foosball lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes.

I'm embarassed and annoyed that I can become worked up emotionally over someone I've never met.
